looks like a fantasy world. Odd in that I like it and don't like it at the same time. I think the triptych enhances the image but I wonder at your choice of framing - its all personal taste anyway. The image quality is excellent Maybe its the black at each corner holding me back. No clue. Anyway - 8 - good luck in the challenge! |

This is one of my top 5 in the challenge. I love the way your eye follows the line of trees. The way you arranged the images and chose two different sizes is wonderful. I love it. |

Wow, I'm moving in! A gorgeous view. I'm curious about the difference in the trees on the left and right. Have they been desaturated or something. That part seems a bit odd. I'm not convinced I like the different sizes of the photos but it does create an interesting effect. |

How does the division of your picture into three frames enhance the photo? How does this "tell...a story or illustrates a concept or object" better than the original image? |

I think you really made this one work by using smaller sized left and right panels. It's a great shot, but wouldn't have been as interesting if you had left them all the same size. Very beautifully done! |

Great cropping job. The shadows are very intense and prominent. I wonder how it would look in b/w with a bump in contrast. Might just give Ansel Adams a run for his money! |

Nice backyard! :-) The difference in saturation between the pictures is interesting. I like the different sizings, but the black space leaves me feeling like something is missing, like it needs a cool border around the whole picture (not the individual ones). Also, the blue sky in the middle shows some definite Photoshop play - detracts from the "natural feeling" of the sequence. Pretty and unique picture - overall I like it! |

Oh you lucky!!!!!! I should take off points for the jealous factor for having a back yard like this -- just kidding -- it's gorgeous, and looks great in a triptich format :) Good luck. |

6 - Very nice. Criticism; although I can see the effect of the side panels, to me, given that the 'rows' are such a feature in this shot, to somehow have incorporated, or rather not cropped, the tips of the fore trees, would have made this better in my opinion. Whether by a different choice of sized frame, or higher placement, or even full length, not sure. |

Not a fan of the odd sized borders with some exceptions - I don't think it works here, but just my opinion of course - however, the image(s) are so good, I'll go easy on you for it :) |

It's a good (very pretty!) photograph, but I don't think it's any better as a triptych than it would have been as a single image. |
