To the Stars by PaulkComment: Very hi-tech. The blade-like angle of the building points aggresively to the sky and
challenges whoever is up there to complain. I like it. |

Parallel Livesby amandawriterComment: In addition to the original idea, this picture adds nostalgia. Books lovingly kept over the years, with memories stored in them. There is a strong atmosphere about this. |

Organ-pipesby unicumComment: This is a lovely picture, The light reflecting from the tubes is varicoloured and the deep black of the spaces in btween make a wonderful contrast. |

Grass in iceby Bela45Comment: This is a nice natural subject, and works well. A bit monochrome (perhaps that should be duochrome) but it establishes a mood. I like it very much. |

Check Mate!by jmleliiComment: YOu give just a hint of the chessboard in this picture. Others might have shown more of it. The chessmen are interesting and with their vertical parallels contrast well. |

Office Building with Parallel Linesby Prof_FateComment: This is a building which gives no hint of its structure, just the glass cladding. This it is a good subject for this challenge. The reflections on the left-hand side of the picture relieve the overall silvery colour and make it a good shot. |

Naturally Parallelby falveyComment: These are wonderful rock-formations. Where? Wherever they are they are quite
something. I like the fact that you let some sky in, I suppose you could have lowered the shot and it would have been all grey, but you didn't. Wo is the brave
climber? |

Beams and Shadowsby AmiYuyComment: This is what this challenge is about. It is obviously hard to take a picture like this and avoid it being boring, but this one has succeeded. I suppose it is the breaks in the lines and the interesting shadow-play that do the trick. |

Henry W. Gradyby GallatinComment: Lots of parallels here. The paddles and the opposing lines of the arcade on the upper deck play off well against each other. The colours look right. |
