 The cover over my back patio. I tried it with a dog (one of my favorite pictures I've taken of a friend's dog has her face with this as a background), but the lighting didn't work, and it just was bleh. Lol, I took almost 150 photos for this challenge and came up with several I really like, but weren't as strong as this.

Taken at 3:25 PM, natural sunlight.
Resize, Sharpen +3, Rotate.

Good use of light & shade. I like the angle and the way the glimpses of sky get larger towards the top of the image

This is what this challenge is about. It is obviously hard to take a picture like this and avoid it being boring, but this one has succeeded. I suppose it is the breaks in the lines and the interesting shadow-play that do the trick.

this is really fine but I think it might have been better it you had chosen either the top half or, my choice, the bottom half and made a shot of either cause the big beam in the center just seems to split up the continuity of the shadows for me. Nice find and very good over all shot.

Technically very good and nice usage of light and shadows. Dont know if its very creative or intresting in artistical or other ways. Supose that a matter of opinion but I dont find it very eyecaching.
