| This is a really good image, but the emphasis is not on the parallel lines. Very little of that is in this shot. |

| Are the lines you're using the lines of squares on the board or a line of pieces in a row? If the board squares, back off and get several leading up to the king. If a row of pieces, elevate your camera above the board where that line is more obvious. P.S. Your board has a water ring on it. :-> |

| YOu give just a hint of the chessboard in this picture. Others might have shown more of it. The chessmen are interesting and with their vertical parallels contrast well. |

| The lightning seem pretty good but I´ve seen similar things performed better. Think you would have got a better result if youve had the chesmen more widespred, that more distance between them, and maybe fewer. Also I would have liked another angel, seeing more of the chesboard and the lines it performes. |

| HEY! I have one of those chess sets! Seriously, besides the board, I don't see parallell lines, amd thae faint lattuce fence in the background is very distracting. |

Maybe an overhead view would have been a bit better, in my humble opinion.
