Lonelinessby PainielComment: Ho hum! I think DPC needs to be taken down a dark alley and beaten up from time to time. |

Phloem & Phyladendronby BrennanOBComment: This is really great...nice velvety feel and good three dimensionality. Maybe could do with a shift towards blackness but that could be my monitor. Plus leaf would have been better placed on the uniform vertical part of the grain...at the moment it is a little confused with the swirly part in the bottom left. Honestly, if no-one else likes this then it's their loss and indicative of the rather restricted outlook of our fellow DPCers. I think it's 'phloem' too. |

Not In Useby TUBORGComment: Magical! I love the contrast between pure and cluttered and the artistic evidence of a passing animal. Top shot so far...
....and coming back for second pass, it has lost none of its charm. Moving up to my only 10 of the challenge |

Ilulissat Fiord, Greenlandby pekeloComment: I'm sure this would look outstanding very big....not sure why you have hampered the appreciation of this shot by making it so small here. |

1642 - English Civil Warby FalcComment: Mood, lighting, still life feel, exquisite detail, composition - all make this seem like a Rembrandt. Excellent capture and processing.
P.S. Have you thought about a grunge effect? It would bring this into the 21st century, you old fogey.
P.P.S. Have you thought of a nice Cromwell portrait a la Librodo? He is such an attractive man. |
