The clarity on this (and the colors) is just beautiful. I really hope you have a 'wall sized' one of this in your home. |

This was my first ever entry. I first submitted it too big and got the message to that effect. I reduced the size and resubmitted it too small but there isn't a message to tell me that. It was my silly error but I think there should be a "too small" message as well as a "too big" message for people like me.
And thank you for all the nice comments you sent me. |

That's like a scene out of a movie. Very cool. |

I never understood why Greenland and Iceland's names weren't switched! LOL. Great color, wonderful detail, beautiful job! |

I would really like to see a larger version of this shot. Great capture of the light and shadows in the drifts with the silhouettes just adding a finishing touch. Good eye! |

Wow, so that's what it looks like from the ground! Beautiful. The ice on the right reallly looks like the ice visible from 38,000 ft...
Love the birds and the eerily gloomy light. I'd love to know what you were doing there. |

This looks like it could be great, but I can't really see anything as the shot is so small. Resizing to 640 would have helped with this. |

I so wish this were a bigger size, as it looks great here, but would have had a much bigger impact if bigger in size for sure..... |

I'm sure this would look outstanding very big....not sure why you have hampered the appreciation of this shot by making it so small here. |

Nice capture, however the image is a little smaller then the maximum allowed. If you could try to have your image as close to 640 pixels on the longest side more details are visible. "File Size: No larger than 150 KB (153,600 bytes). Dimension: No dimension may be shorter than 160 pixels or longer than 640 pixels." Sometimes scores suffer just due to the image being small. Still a beautiful capture-good luck |

The two birds add a nice point of interest. I love the shapes and shades of the ice and snow. Excellent shot. |

Beautifull... but it should be bigger, I'm sure that you would have gain an extra point by using the 640 pixels that we are allowed to use in challenges. |

I really like the expanse of scenery seen here in this cold landscape. What adds visual interest is thos sharp spiky mountains seen in the background which really adds to the idea that this is can indeed be a very cold and hostile land. Also there are two lone birds (the ones resting lower are not as visible because their grey/white hues dissapear into the landscape) on top of the ice shelf seen on the right hand side of the photo that adds interest because it shows us life can exist here. I think you could easily have presented this composition by filling the frame with just those four birds standing on the ice shelf and the sharp spiky mountains in the background with a smattering of sky. A closer crop would call more attention to focus the viewers attention on the two elements of the birds and the sharp mountains. |

Wow, so that's what that looks like! I've flown over many times and wondered what it was like down there. The contrast between the crisp ice and smooth clouds is excellent, as is the contrast between the cool blue ice and the warm clouds. And the two birds (cormorants?) provide a center of attraction. Just wish the image were full 640 pixels wide! 8 |
