I agree with the others about the eyes, though. Would like them to have a bit more contrast and clarity.
Tones are nice and the whole makes for a somewhat "disturbed" look. |

day 2. overlay. wood beetleby rozComment: I really like how the sketch action works on the beetle's surroundings. It pulls everything together so well. I think it's a little strong on the beetle, though. I wonder if the beetle would emerge more if the effect was less strong on that part...it seems to have lost some of its dimension. Neatly done, nonetheless. |

Distressedby shalrathComment: Great title! Everything about this image says "distressed". The texture and toning just drive the point home and give what might otherwise be a busy image of a run-down building it's raison d'etre. |
