 Another boat scene overlaid with more sandstone - a layer in overlay and a layer in multiply merged and then faded to taste.

Nice tones and composition. I like the effect in the sky, but I do agree that the overall image may have benefited from having some hint of the texture throughout. Very painterly. Nice.

The texture almost comes across as rain. Very cool effect. I wouldn't have thought to combine this scene with sandstone, but it works well.

Oh, I love this. A true traveling boat anchored out. The overlay works wonderfully and the lights in town and on the tower are just icing on the cake. Into my favorites.
