I agree with the comments that the face (and chicken) were too overexposed. I wanted harsh lighting on those items, but it was a bit too much. On the other hand, I don't agree with comments that it didn't meet the challenge. It's no sleeping baby or snowy landscape, but I think the scene was a great expression of uncomfortable silence!

Liked this photo, captured the feeling of watching a movie on the sofa quite well. I bet you didn't need as detailed a title; I assume you are addressing the different emotions they are showing. No explanation is necessary to me!

Nice photo, I assume it was done like EddyG's "Almost Gone" //www.dpchallenge.com/image.php?IMAGE_ID=59658.

Strong lines and good interpretation. I'll bet you do well. Tiny bit of overexposure on the hands?

Sexy image. Maybe you could have moved the model away from the backdrop to avoid the shadows.

This was a classic situation of having 100 photos from the session to choose from, and I should have picked a more dynamic one. I was in love with the composition and squelched my concern that it looked too staged. The people (en masse) did not overlook that little wrinkle! One thing that came out of this was that I realized that photographing people is harder and more fun than still life. And stdavidson, I'm a real hotshot, that's why. :)

One of my favorites. I hope it is a live shot, and not a museum exhibit.

I liked the photo, but think it is a bad idea to give instructions in the title.
