The Midday Napperby Pug-HComment: I would have changed perspectives on this and perhaps shot from the ground with the sleeping person as the main focus and then the feet walking around him. Unfortunately, he is also in the shade on a fairly contrasty day and is very hard to find in the picture. THe person looking his way is a nice touch... but overall.. my eye doesn't know where to go. Most shots (but not all) need some sort of anchor for a scene -- putting the sleeping person (or even a foot or any element int his scene) in the foreground would have created a more interesting image. |

Biggieby pcarpiComment: Unfortunately, I don't see complimentary colours here and hte image seems a little soft (unfocused). One techique you can use is to employ a shutter speed that is higher than the longest focal length of your lens. Therefore, if you're using an 80mm lens, then shoot at 1/125th of a second or higher. The higher the shutter speed the better... and sometimes a tripod helps. |

Onionsby ajschelComment: Needs a bit more DOF to ensure more of the onion is sharp - but beautiful eye-catching piece. The rest can be out of focus, but at least one element should have a really really strong focus. |
