The composition would be better if the leaf dominated the entire frame. 75% of the space is a blurred background, which doesn't add to the nice leaf shot you've taken. Also, the tip of the leaf seems out of focus and somewhat underexposed.

B&W was the right choice. My only criticism is that all the twisting tubes take away from the parallel theme.

I don't think this is on theme. Two rails would create paralelism, not just one rail. Also, I think a greater depth of field would work better.

I think this would be a better picture if the domino's were more centered in the frame. All the extra dark space doesn't add much to the composition.
