Really interesting idea. I hope for you that you won't get voted down too much for being "out of focus". Personnally, while I tink it's very clever from a "meeting the challenge" point of view, photographically speaking, I don't find it really appealling.

I think the idea is real god but with more DOF the lines created by the fence would have been more apparent. Can't really see them that way.

It's hard to write a comment on a shot like this because everything in this shot work very well. The composition and DOF are outstanding. The only annoying thing I find is that we loose is left hand index into a refelctions in the viola in the background. I guess that nothing can be done and a great photography loaded with emotion anyway.
