CiTyScApEby mariomelComment: Great shot. I plan to do almost the same shot someday from somewhere on the side of the 132. Some few comment: Your photo seem to have been shot at wide angle because there is an obvious distortion in your shot. you can see the river rolling up in the right of your photo. The image seem tilted too like the camera was inclined on the left side. Your sky is beautiful, you had a good light but it seem your camera was pointed slightly to the sky because it gives the impression that the building are bent over their backside. if you ever do that photo again, my advice is don't zoom out all the way to the wide angle side, point the camera at level and be carefull no to be tilted. |

"Buiding a Better Mouse Trap"by tfarrell23Comment: Really great photo. I didn't vote on unfortunately but i would have givea 7. Some suggestion to improve tyhe shot would be.
1. a light from the top
2. a plain background (white or black)
3. more DOF
4. maybe a stop more exposed.
This would have been incredible but it's great anyway!! |

LAMBby fendosComment: Sorry if I'm being rude but this is what I'll call submit for submit. It's not meeting the challenge and I don't think it's even trying to. Notice that the challenges have themes. The greatest photo ever of a sunset would get nothing if the theme was "whales". (1) |

"Your Move"by johnnydComment: Obvious photographic quality, Highly print worthy, good lightning, good DOF. One of the best chess shot in this challenge but still, another chess shot (7) |

Scissors Vs. Stoneby TiberiusComment: The idea here is great. Good B&W treatment. i like the contrast you put in the picture. Maybe a little less grain, (or lot less grain) would have made a better shot. I know that some people like grain and add it after the shot was taken but i'm not into it. Good shot anyway. (6) |

Green and Goldby JarradComment: Not enough DOF there are flower that are out of focus. If the DOF would have been more shallow (isolate a single flower for example) or less shallow, (all the plant crisp clear in the foreground with the machine blurry in the background), it would have been a really great Shllow DOF entry. Unfortunately this is a conflict challenge and i just don't see a conflict. (4) |
