Rock vs Iceby greslizzzComment: Digital cameras have such a hard time with white. I perceive the strength here, but there just isn't any detail. |

Biking is hard to learn.., and it hurts!by olnosComment: I gave this foto an 8, but your comment is out of line here. Photography is subjective, and on this site, majority rules. The subject of this picture is the girl, not the wheel. It is encouraged here that we give maximum consideration to the theme. That's the dificulty of this challange oriented site. Coming up with ideas twice a week that fit. My guess is that many people didn't think that it met the challange. You are exactly right that this is a wonderful shot, but your playing long odds going 113 to 1. |

Papa's Umbrellaby milleniummikeComment: Rotate this subject and get rid of that distracting white rope and I'm with you on this one. Could be a litle darker to get rid of the wash out at the hub. Nice shot. 6 |

Ground Workby crabappl3Comment: Very, very nice. Do I want more detail in your blacks? In this case yes. Lack of detail in the blacks of the upper right are tugging at my eye. Nice work. 7 |

Strong Flavasby tezza73ukComment: Well, this must be Italian, the chiles are red, and there is no tomatoe. Being from Mexico, I have to count you down, right? It's ok, I have an open mind! Your composition is a little to the left and those scraps of garlic skin on the canvas have got to go. But, object placement is very nice, and this is a rarest of occasions when I think that a border enhances any photo. Nice work. 8 |

Rusty Pipesby Beerme425Comment: It's been a long time sinse I ran a pipe wrench, but isn't the rotation losining the joint. The oposite of strength? Light, composition, depth of field, all great. 8 |
