	Oldest of them All... by echo68ph Comment: Nice tones in the photo--the color of the book, wood, and background all work well together. I don't realy understand your title though--Christiantiy is a relatively new/young religion. There are MANY examples of religious authority LONG LONG before Christiantiy came about.

	The Man Upstairs by Shadowrain Comment: Good job at conveying mood--it's a bit of a stretch for the challenge fo "Authority", but I'll give you the benefit of the doubt. This would also work very nicely as a B&W.

	Walking Papers by smithma Comment: Good match to the challenge. The shllow DOF works well here--effectively "pushing" the dissmissal note out to the viewer. Nice work--8.

	Maths the mother of laws by insane Comment: This works well as a B&W photo--nice tones, and good composition. However, I really don't feel a connection to "Authority". I think I know where you are headed--that Math is the "root" of all the sciences, but it's a pretty big stretch for me. 5.
