Where's the breeze?by TooCoolComment: The warm skin tone and the bright colored makes this shot very interesting.
The subject seems to be framed within a frame by the way the window is open and helps to focus ones eyes on the girl. The horizontal elements of the siding on the house also bring your eyes to the subject.
I can't help also to like the reflection of the outside on the upper part of the window. Your also using the rule of thirds.
This picture works incredibly well on so many level. This is like a lesson in compositioning. If this is your first candid I can't wait for your next effort. Message edited by author 2004-05-22 03:52:38. |

Green Essenceby birgirComment: Nice and simple composition. It gives the message of "Bite Me". Would make for a great AD for the apple industry. "10" |

Unorthodoxby TooCoolComment: The dark background surrounding the subjects really make them pop out of the shot. Contrast is good. Having the light go through the petals give you a feeling of the soft texture of them. |

Fun On A Cloudy Dayby simbambaComment: The composition is enhanced by the angle of the capture. Very dynamic and gives the sense of motion. The subjects are more enhanced by the white background. almost like an abstract because of the beautiful curve in the coaster.
This is how the photos you can purchase after riding should look. Then maybe more people would buy. "10" |

Rusted Bonnetby KaveyComment: I think that rust is interesting because of color and texture. This does have some nice colors but lacking texture. Possibly getting in closer would give this feeling more and make the shot more even more interesting. "5" if entered in the "rusted" challenge. |

Rusty Springby KaveyComment: I like the shapes in the composition. The beauty of rust usually lies in the coloration and this shot has many different shades of it. I like the look of rust flaking. You have some of this in the shot.
DOF is really nice and sets the winding coil apart from the background. "7" if this was entered in the "rusted" challenge. |
