 A macro study of a section of rusted car that caught my eye because of the splash of colours. The wonderful patterns remind of me of the painted covers of 1970's sci-fi books showing the surface of imaginary planets...

I think that rust is interesting because of color and texture. This does have some nice colors but lacking texture. Possibly getting in closer would give this feeling more and make the shot more even more interesting. "5" if entered in the "rusted" challenge.

Interesting rust pattern but the overall composition doesn't thrill me. I think cropping off the bottom by getting closer would produce an interesting rust abstract.
