-2.jpgby GotakaComment by Arcanist: Very romantic image. Excellent! The baby's breath works miracles to keep some depth on an all white background. |

Monument.jpgby GotakaComment by Yo_Spiff: It has some great colors, though it needs to be straightened a little. (Oops, I see you addressed that in your remarks!) Might have a touch more impact if the sky was cropped to put the monument just a little higher in the picture. It seems to be guiding my eye up and past the subject of the Washington monument and into the empty sky.
I am not a paying member here yet, but if you would like to provide a critique on my own work, I keep some of them here: //www.flickr.com/photos/yospiff/sets/72157601667023015/ |

Green-Snake.jpgby GotakaComment by noraneko: There are some great things about this photo: it is very sharp; the colors are vibrant; the bokeh is nicely done. A few issues: the snake's head is facing away; the tall piece of bark bisects the photo. Suggestions to improve the photo w/out a re-shoot: crop a good portion of left and bottom so snake is more prominent; clone out top 1/2 of bark so bokeh is continuous across the b/g. Hope this is helpful! |

Wall-Crawlers 2by GotakaComment by bassbone: i really like this one - good symmetry and nice colors (again). A little touch of processing to improve the lighting levels is probably in order to really have this one jump.
Again, here is a quick edit - adjusted levels (moved in level on right side of histogram) and adjusted the curves (added slight S-shaped curve).
i hope you don't mind the edits - it is fun to work with some else's work - especially someone with a good eye.
