Wish in the windby TannyComment by noraneko: I think this is one of those 'litmus test' type photos where it either works or doesn't, as the wind is an illusion. I was convinced that it was real based on both the thumbnail and full-sized image. I'm also very fond of your processing and signature. Well done on all counts! |

Waiting for the Tideby TannyComment by dahkota: cool picture. Kind of a lot to look at. Not sure what I am supposed to be looking at as the emphasis is on the boats on the right (bright color) but the title tells me to look at the water. |

Waiting for the Tideby TannyComment by colorcarnival: Lots of dynamics in this pic - all the boats, the water, the reflections, the color. What's so wonderful that with everything you have in the pic, you still captured a sense of order. Great eye, great perspective! |

Wish in the windby TannyComment by posthumous: I don't see any wind affecting the seed head, but I do like the inversion. It makes your dandelion seem furry! And I liked the blurred seed. It almost seems as if the seed leapt from the flower of its own volition instead of waiting for the wind!
Also nicely unexpected is the motion from right to left instead of left to right, although that only works in certain cultures. |

Wish in the windby TannyComment by yanko: The editing is very good. I like inverted look which adds a twist to a very common idea. |

Gone Fishingby TannyComment by Tanny: Originally posted by posthumous: It feels a little off-balance to me because the top half is all feathery and the bottom half is all mechanical. |
Thanks Guys for the very unexpected great comments. Posthumous, your comment is truly appreciated. I think thats what i wanted and take your point however the feathers in the background were materials that were used to make the fly so thought i would add them too the composition. My main intention was to have the real and lure in sharp focus and the feathers in a blur just to compliment the real.
I can see what you meen though now and will try better or think about it a little more in future compositions. Thanks for all your inputs, this is how i learn.
Thanks!!

Gone Fishingby TannyComment by bdenny: IMO, everything under the lure is absolutely amazing! The PP is dead on perfect, I love it. But the lure and the feathers above it are somewhat distracting. Overall though, it's still a phenominal photo. I'm sure your neighbor thought so too. |

Gone Fishingby TannyComment by colorcarnival: Love whatever processing you used. The metal looks smooth and cool. The lighting really added a nice complimentary effect. |
