 Just trying to get the hang of post editing.

I placed a seed head, taped to a whisky tube, bounced the flash off the ceiling and had a table lamp lighting from the left.

Used the Mac screen as a black bg then plucked a seed from another plant and kept droppining it past the seed head and shooting until i had it where i wanted it.

I wanted the effect to look as though the seed had been plucked by a gust of wind. Using a slightly slowe shutter speed to convey just a little movement on the seed itself.

I then inverted the colour converted to mono, curves sharpened and saved for web.

I think this is one of those 'litmus test' type photos where it either works or doesn't, as the wind is an illusion. I was convinced that it was real based on both the thumbnail and full-sized image. I'm also very fond of your processing and signature. Well done on all counts!

I don't see any wind affecting the seed head, but I do like the inversion. It makes your dandelion seem furry! And I liked the blurred seed. It almost seems as if the seed leapt from the flower of its own volition instead of waiting for the wind!

Also nicely unexpected is the motion from right to left instead of left to right, although that only works in certain cultures.

The editing is very good. I like inverted look which adds a twist to a very common idea.
