Gone Fishingby TannyComment by Tanny: Howzitboy, Nixter, Thanks for those wonderful comments guys. Really boosted my confidence. I feel this was probably more luck than judgement but am slowly learning off some great/stunning work from this site.
Really appreciate you taking the time to comment.

Gone Fishingby TannyComment by nixter: Great capture! I love all the warm tones and colours. I like the composition with all the fly tying materials too. Perhaps the only change I would make would be to include all of the reel and fly in the frame. Very nice work and well done! |

Gone Fishingby TannyComment by howzitboy: what an outstanding job!! you took your neighbors challenge and out did yourself! just look at that shot. it should be in a poster hanging in a fishing store! such soft, warm lighting, such a nice balance of items with all kinds of textures. I bet most guys here would say, if they took this shot, that its their best work ever. Gratzz!! |

Waiting for the Tideby TannyComment by Tanny: Thanks for taking the time. I thought it may be a little too in your face with the saturation. I did tone it down after your comments and quite like and prefer the result.
Thanks again

Waiting for the Tideby TannyComment by posthumous: my first reaction is, "whoa! turn it down a notch!" but as my eyes adjust it is a fun picture to look at. Nothing really holds my attention, though. My eye has no path or resting place. |

Waiting for the Tideby TannyComment by noraneko: My first thought upon opening this is "oversaturated." I feel like there's an awful lot going on - and I'm having trouble finding a focal point. However, I very much like the bottom 1/3 of the photo. Might be interesting to play with cropping on this one. |
