by any other nameby zencowComment by Ja-9: this is totally technical and in the eye of the beholder (ME)...but it seems that you could have cropped this a little differently to really reduce the amount of "dead" space you have in the picture (mostly on the left side) it really does not add to the photo...and it would have kept the flower in the rule of thirds...mind you this is JMO.... |

Seven Thirty Shadowby zencowComment by nGallahan: At first I was thinking the door frame was distracting, but the more I look the more I like it. It adds depth to the scene. The composition is very well done as well, many "sunglass" shots simpley go verticle or full frame the face, but here it tells more story. I like it! |

Creative Outletby zencowComment by PGerst: Very nice. My own personal preference would have been a vertical crop, straightened (maybe) and cropped a little more so the lightest portion of the wall (seen here on the lower right) was not in view. |

Old Worldby zencowComment by spiritualspatula: The inanimate watching the animate, still eyes documenting the scurry. The changing of outfits upon the mannequin add even more. I like that the mannequin is sufficiently blurred to keep the viewer from readily ascertaining its artifice. A stand-in compelling us to remember times where we gazed at a steadily changing world, at forlorn days receding into the past, of drops falling upon the pane that we would never see again. Very nice. I also like how there is such a variety of lines, characters, everything within the reflection. Drives home the change and complexity all the more. |
