This image kinda leaves me feeling 'so what?' The technicals are pretty much there, but I don't see any real reason for this image to exist. Sorry if that sounds a little harsh, but I like it when an image has a little more...thesis? |

Dinner and a Cookieby NobodyComment: Something about this image is really tearing me in two as to whether I like it or not. It's so completely lit on all sides that it both a) looks flat and b) looks kinda hip, like a Wes Anderson movie. Or Napoleon Dynamite. 7 for making me think so freakin' hard. |

A different timeby aliquiComment: I love the frame, and the texture is excellent, but i feel like the thing in the background being framed is too interesting to have this shallow DOF. Perhaps a little more in focus (though not completely). |

Out of Ruin, Sprouts Lifeby APComment: Woah, this is an amazing, amazing picture. It's so not DPC (like the cute little deer are, :P), but I like this wayy more than a great deal of the entries in this FS. If I had voted, 10 for sure. |

Discoveryby Trumpeteer4Comment: Man, he looks terrified. The lighting is great, but his expression just doesn't read 'discovery.' This is one of those instances where the title really changes how we look at the picture--if the picture and the title don't seem to agree, it really is detrimental to the entry.

Leaving You by Dr_TotoComment: Very cool. But I think you just hit that "overprocessed" point. Like, a single, um, processing unit, less would have made this amazing. Some weird lighting going on on her arms, and strange shadowy/halo-y things on the horizon. |
