im sure that youre right about the deer doing better ( thats just DPC for you hahaha) but i see much more beauty and creativity in this one. i love how you employ low key shots to produce stronger emotions i feel like the enveloping darkness of the old greenhouse really helps personify the struggling, lone fern. |

Woah, this is an amazing, amazing picture. It's so not DPC (like the cute little deer are, :P), but I like this wayy more than a great deal of the entries in this FS. If I had voted, 10 for sure. |

many things to like on this one, but tough to pull off since it really is a subtle work - not usually a good idea for dpc. beautiful work |

I actually think this should have done better in score and placing than it did. I like the single eye catching brightness of nature coming through and reclaiming her place. Very nice |

You knew it was not "bankable" but it was worth it sharing a good out-of-the-box picture!
The distribution of patterns and lights is simply amazing. It talks to me. It's fresh air... I regret the score I gave it, it deserved at least an 8/9. |

beautiful play of shadows... and shapes! the colors are great ( I like how its greens/golds/and earthtones) & having the sharpest point/subject in the absolute center is great! :-) Kudos! |

There's a lot going on in this picture and it could be easy to miss the central plant in the light. |
