Hagiwaraby rasdubComment: Although Zen would give the illusion that an Asian-inspired theme would be the ultimate example, for me, this is just too busy. It demands too much of my interest, wanting to view it from corner to corner. The leaves on the trees are very busy for my eye to focus on the overall serenity of this photo. |

the forestby robaComment: Although I like this photo and the concept, for me, the background letters and the foreground works against each other. I find that this causes me to want to look at each element individually, instead of as a whole. I guess just not enough simplicity, it makes me 'work' too much to see the whole interesting photo. |

Serenity Summitby ChrissysueComment: A pretty shot, but I think there is too much going on here that I don't get a sense of peace or serenity when I look at it. It begs me to discover each and every corner, because there is so much to offer. NOT a bad thing in another challenge, but in this one, it doesn't work well. |
