Exactly what I was thinking after reading your description. Diane, your pics are always clean, crisp, in focus and all the technical things are done perfectly. More than that there is a definite style and fun to your pics. I just love them! But yeah, take a break. When you come back you might have something pop into your head that you missed before. Happens to me ALL THE TIME!

And I love the light coming up under you chin and neck. Great processing no matter what you say. LOL

I agree with TC that without the description I would have simply thought it was a pretty cool picture of a door handle with a shadow face looking at it. Like the textures you've added and the "duotone" effect of the fridge's lighting.

I'm not sure, but I don't think the eyes are natural. Just a hunch I have.

Why you don't like the picture, I'm not sure. It's lovely.

I don't know why you don't like this shot. The lighting is all but perfect though the image itself might be sharper. The light brings out what the image is about.

This would be a wicked pic for stock. Same as your other one.

Great work!

I hear ya. And yet, somehow it's on days like this that things seem to come out pretty cool.
There's no denying you're good.

That has GOT to itch! Don't suppose you could have added a forked tongue. Or grasshopper leg? Bit too much? Oh well.

Great job on getting the skin effect to match your skin contours. Unless, that's not an effect...

They always show up when I'm bored too.

Great lighting on the two "voices in your head". Focus on you could be sharper as could the light around your eyes. They look too dark.

Nice pic and a good one to learn/play around with getting rid of the background.
