Reflectionsby JeanComment: Very neat abstract, almost seems like jellyfish at the bottom of a deep ocean :) jpg could have been at a better quality, or perhaps the artifacts are a product of oversharpening? Can't tell the difference yet... nice shot! |

Feeding Timeby SwashbucklerComment: As for meeting the challenge, I don't feel it meets it as strongly as it should - one fish is hard to see - but otherwise the elements of the photo make a very interesting abstract, especially the colored bits on the top left. Looks a little messy with the grass, perhaps a composition where the grass is less cluttered would have worked better. |

Quadrants and Buds by joannsComment: Very artistic and interesting composition. Love the colors and symmetry of the shot! The glare in the glass is somewhat distracting but I have a hard time myself removing these from my own photographs. |

There we areby jjbeguinComment: Love the different textures and justposition of the railing and tile's blue clors to the muted earth tones of the building. Nicely composed, with all the lines in the photo all diaganal, and interesecting at right angles. Though you needed the sign to fit the challenge, it seems out of place in the abstract though and the shot (outside of the dpchallenge context) would have been probably nicer without the sign. One of my favorites this week. |

Old Mill Spillwayby GallatinComment: Too bad the lighting wasn't at another angle to avoid most of this shot to be in shadows. Otherwise it is a very nicely composed photo which really conveys the motion of the water. Like the vertical lines created by the falling water. |

Tanyaby bamasterComment: One of my favorites this week. You could almost feel like she's moving across the picture. Nicely composed and I like the desaturated look. My only gripes, and these are very minor, would have been, one, to see the right arm in its entirety and two, if some sort of lighting would eliminate the shadow under her left arm. But a really great photograph nonetheless! |

Enduranceby KarenBComment: This picture reminds me sooo much of O'Henry's short story "The Last Leaf", its incredible. From the subject, the painted-like background, to the title! You should find the story and read it! (unless you have a strong aversion to litterature) :) As a standalone picture, its strongly composed, no distracting elements, and the blurred blue-grey background sets a nice backdrop for the fall leaf. Cool! |

Snow, Sleet & Freezing Rainby DianaComment: I like the placement of the ambulence in the lower corner, and the colors of the ambulence contrasts well with the bleak landscape. Background almost looks painted. Its unfortunate the ambulance isn't in sharp focus. Not exactly sure why, maybe due to the autoamtic focus on the camera locking whatever is in the center of the frame (background)? |

Timing Motionby gerardComment: Nice composition, like the monotone-look of the image. Something's casting a shadow on the right that doesn't need to be there, but a very minor gripe. |
