University traditionsby DocendoDiscimusComment: I'd prefer less crop on the left and more on the right I think - composed a bit uneven in my opinion, focus could be a little better and it doesn't shout "education" like some of the other entries but it's a great action shot - good job :) |

Shelf of knowledgeby paulb_17Comment: I think I'd prefer to see less crop on the left or more on the right so that the books are either continual from side to side or have space on both sides - as is, seems a bit awkwardly uneven, like the B&W but it seems a bit flat, my preference would have been to tweak up the black a little - or add some contrast, it seems kind of drab. I do think "education" when I look at this - so it certainly meets the challenge - good job :) |

Just the basics pleaseby kashiComment: kind of snap shot-ish and the lighting and/or focus isn't so hot - BUT - it's a great idea and certainly meets the challenge - good job :) |

A Touch of Class - Senior 2006by dartompkinsComment: Without your title I don't view this image as having anything to do with "education". Nice looking fellow all spiffied up - and his expression makes it appear as he is a typical teen posing for yet another photo. Nice use of B&W and lighting, nice crop and overall composition. I like his pose or body language with the hands held and head tilted and the stairs with railing - overall a really nice image - good job :) |

Capturing the Magic Momentby karmatComment: I'm not sure that this says "education" to me - neither image nor title - perhaps I don't "get it" - wouldn't be the first time! Focus is a little soft in certain spots but good use of B&W :) |

Old Stone School 1832 - 1950by PhotoArtComment: what a quaint little building, like the colors and the slight softness it has adds to the overall feel - I'm really glad you chose to include the sign, there are some others that didn't and they just don't seem to meet the challenge as well - good job :) |

Pillars of Knowledgeby GIS_boyComment: I don't think I care for the overly orange tone in this one - perhaps color or even B&W would be my preference - very nice composition though and it certainly meets the challenge, good title too - good job :) |
