Maybe if the man in front could be a little stronger? or the stuff in the foreground not quite so distracting? |

I love the movement in the baton. |

Really impressive that he stayed perfectly still except for his conducting wand! I like the intensity and gentle warning on his face and the pointing finger. Good focal length to keep the foreground from becoming too distracting. The only suggestion I might have is to crop out about an inch from the bottom - it is just dead space. |

Too many foreground items that are blurred due to the DOF chosen that makes this too cluttered IMHO. |

This is an awesome image. I wonder how many will understand diminuendo though? 9 |

Nice moment. Maybe a little grey. |

i think this is a very well taken shot but it lacks a connection to the theme of the challenge 5 |

Fabulous use of DOF! Maybe a bit underexposed though. |

Having spent way too many hours in orchestra and band, this image really resonates (pun intended) with me. Although my initial reaction was the crop was all wrong, on further reflection, the crop is just right. This is the view I had of the orchestra leader most of the time. Thanks for taking me back to those long lost years. Absolutely a "10" in my book. |

Nice idea. There's too much out of focus foreground, cropping to about 2/3 upper left would be better. |
