01 - Tree at Water's Edgeby ErikVComment: In the gray of winter, shadows play, dancing with the light, twirling through limbs and bounding along the shore. Delightful capture of light and shadow. |

main-02-02-08-5425.jpgby fixedintimeComment: My mind very quickly organized this into two frames, left and right, with a brief space between. Perhaps the left side is preparing to battle the right? I like the managed chaos here . . . |

pensiveby beneeComment: The conversion here helps, I think. I'm not a big fan of statues out of context (as the primary focus of the shot). The tones and textures work well, except for that bit around the head. |

5.52 Then and nowby MelethiaComment: So many wonderful elements here: how do you capture a street in a car? Just like this (that sounded like a joke about popes in a phone booth, but wasn't meant to). I love the new VW going by; things change, including shapes. And the tiles are a perfect, very subtle element here. Wonderful. |

WK 2 300_0115.jpgby salmiakkiComment: Delightful, how realistically this catches what one sees. In very few circumstances does the naked eye see bright whites as extra bright, but snow and ice give us one of those circumstances. I like what the ASE gave you here. |

Caryatidsby kolasiComment: Standing for so long, such a heavy burden, must be hard. A wonderful conversion of the original, with tones that play much better to my eye. |

Week 1 - Marioby wickee_oneComment: I like the soft gradient here that leads us from the left back into the dog, and those soulful eyes. |
