smellervisionby melodeeComment: Good idea if you could of pulled it off. Nothing appears to be in focus. The focal point must be behind the dog. This leads me to believe this was a chance encounter and the preset didn't allow for the sudden loss of light and overexposed the background. Perhaps a different title like "what can ruin a great photo". Even recreating the moment to try to get a better shot is difficult, especially with animals. They rarely cooperate. |

What are you looking at?by trishialwComment: Sometimes DOF is hard to capture in a macro. I find it difficult to locate the exact focal point or pehaps it was washed away by the harsh lighting of the flash. |
