you're right, the detail retention is impressive-
check this out-
2560x1920 = 4915200 pixels
711x502 = 356922 pixels
356922/4915200 = 7.26%
Rather than 26% of the image area, your crop was actually only 7.26% - and the detail is still that good. WOW! |

Very nice picture. Like the position of the moon, gives it a sense that it is moving into the photo. Love how clear the craters are defined, this is one shot that still eludes me. Good job! |
