_MG_3009-Edit-2.jpgby cpanaiotiComment: I like the effect you got here. It is like the dark area blurred let the center portion of the other image show through. |

Week 09 - Long wayby hajekaComment: Very nice. I like the framing, the leading lines, the mist, the light "at the end of the tunnel." There are lots of things to like about this image. One thing I would like to see changed if to get rid of that small white object in the middle of the road. |

Day 1 - Penny for 'emby taljComment: Good perspective. I suspect that instead of the DOF issue you may not have gotten the lens perpendicular to the coin. Thus only one part is out of focus. |

Day 1: Baselineby EstimatedEyesComment: An interesting plant. You did a good job of holding the camera steady for a macro of this size. That I think will be your real test - how steady you can hold it, what shutter speed you can use for the handhelds, how to hold the camera steady for these shots. The trade off between shutter speed and DOF if a little more difficult as even with a tripod there are time where you won't want great DOF for the shot you are taking. |

Day 1 - Seedsby kteachComment: Great photo. The color is outstanding and the detail is very good. I like the effects of the diagonal lines in the image as well. |

talk - day 1 macro by scwalshComment: These are the kinds of images I like to see in the macros. Making a good image out of the things we see and use everyday and rarely think of capturing an image of them. You have done a good job here. |
