this is just one of my favorite photos on the site.it is warm and inviting and says alot about the person who took it. only a special type of person can take the time to find something like this and take it with such care and finess

in the challenge i didnt score this all that well...i didnt see where the lighting was a major element...however standing on its own i really like it...i love the almost monochromatic feel...the deep sense of blue is great...it makes this scene one i would like to look at often...it has a very calming and serene feel...its beautiful

i like this one also...i might like to see a litle bit bolder border like the black in the first or a wider brown to tone down the brightness in this one as well

the first thing that comes to mind here is that i wish the yellow strap wasnt in the photo...of course this is my opinion....the placement of the cat and the object containing it is great....the strasp just adds another component i dont feel is needed. i also think the overall composition is a bit too bright

this is incredibly sweet...it is so hard to shoot white anything and the texture of the basket covered that problem for you...i love the way you have cropped the photo...and the fact that the cat is looking more over your shoulder than straight on

i am amazed how many snails and slugs were entered...this is by far my favorite...i would have liked to haveseen more of its refledtion that was cropped off

this is a great subject...you have captured the colors details and texture beautifully...the only imperfection i can point out is the spot on the lower portion of the wing that it is blurred...the cropping is perfect to show off the butterfly and the brightness of the plant it is on gives a wonderful cdontrast to his deep colors

as always your photography impresses me...the framing of the two women is so wonderful...without even seeing their faces you can tell by the way they are captured that they are amazed by what they are seeing...and through your lens we can see that is true....this is a photo filled with so many different things it is emotionally charged...

the scenery...the relationship of the women and what they are expiriencing together ...as you can tell already i love it
