this is a very cool photo. I don't know how surreal it is by most peoples' standards, but then again, the fact that that tombstone is just there on the street makes it surreal. I love the colors and composition. And the fact that everything appears old except that nice crisp new trach bag. Good shot.

Nice. Looks like a lot of work went into this one. I wish the top wasn't so washed out, but I definitely like the idea and it was overall well executed. Definitely surreal.

this image intrigues me. If that hand wasn't there it would almost look like someone lost their bottom half. In fact, i think it would have been really cool, had you moved the hand out of view and then had another person's top half peeking out from the door, as if they had been chopped in half. Does that make sense?

But aside from all of that, i like the normal-ness of this photo. The environment is so typical and i think that's what adds to it's intrigue. Nice lighting. Maybe not the most surreal of the bunch, but I like it.

i like this. i have a sloght problem with the tones in the wall. A little too magenta. But the lighting on the model is very nice, and definitely gives that mannequin look. Nice capture of the floating bills. Good shot.

i like the idea but the backdrop is distracting and i'm not sure about the crop. I think with a more interesting background this could be a great photo. I definitely like the curlers in the hair slightly sticking out about the magazine. Interesting idea.

Surreal Ironing

my favorite part of this is that you're ironing with a tea kettle. I looked at this photo several times before even realizing this. Not only are you out in the middle of nowhere with your ironing board and cheerios, but you're using a tea kettle! Very creative attention to detail.
