Ahoy There !by kevrobertsonComment: Nice bokeh but lacks creativity. This seems like a last minute desparate entry to me! You have the right idea with the bokeh, but I wish you had put a little more thought into the subject. A small wooden man dead center in the frame shows poor compositional skills and creativity. I know you can do better than that! |

The Faceby SandyPComment: This is simply a shallow DOF. I dont think this is a great representation of bokeh. Maybe if the shaped of the out of focus background enhanced your subject, or the colors of the background helped your sebject stand out, but I almost think he gets lost int he similar colors behind him. Love the subject though! |

Cold rustby BoltiComment: This picture has a shallow depth of field, but no bokeh. The out of focus background doesnt enhance your subject in any way. Also the post itself looks a little grainy with quite a bit of noise. Best part about the picture is the lighting....probably taken in the late afternoon sun. Nice job. |

Coloursby peeceeComment: Wheres your focal point exactly. Too much complexity without enough structure to the composition of this photograph. |

Precious Gemsby jpochardComment: Your bokeh is there but it doesn't necessarily enhance or emphasize your subject, it distracts me from it. Your idea is good, but the background probably should have been further from the camera to make this work to its full potential. |

Alone in a Crowdby sgauriaComment: Did you blur this a little in post? It seems a little processed for my taste, but still a nicxe picture. Your artistic idea is evident. |

cactus.jpgby robdocComment: If the things in your background were close they would have come in a little better as true bokeh, but the effect simply isnt there in this picture. Nice clear focus on your subject....but the background is missing information. |

The long wait for summerby sissiComment: There is no bokeh visible at all in your background! And the snow in the foreground is mostly in focus. Like the leaf though. :-) |
