Oscillateby sherComment: I really like this, it looks like it's been oversharpened and I think it adds to the photo: making it feel cold, hard and metallic like steel. |

Retired by BradComment: In my top 10, maybe a ribbon winner. I'd love to see this in colour, I image rust and earth tones really contributing to the photo. |

Red and Greenby mtbriderComment: Incredible composition, focus and colour, one of my favourites of the challenge. Probably a ribbon here. |

Get a grip!by toad32Comment: I think this is my favourite of the challenge. Great idea, excellent use of DOF and perspective. I'd love to know what you used to do this, the right edge of the photo makes it look like you used a fish-eye lens. |

The edgeby mozbugsComment: This does satisfy the challenge, however, I think the lack of colour makes this less interesting. A B&W grainy shot can sometimes invoke certain feelings that add to a photograph (i.e. 'edginess' which you allude to in your title), however, it does not do it for me in this case. |

Handsby reddwarf89Comment: This is one of the most original ideas for the competition, nice Escher interpretation! |
