Feeling agressive, were we? Very nice image. I like the contrasts, the stopped action, and the overall graininess of the image. It really works. What did you do that highlighted the subject's right arm and hand so much? It makes it look slightly "unreal", but again, in the context of the whole image, it really is effective. Careful ! You didn't hit the camera, did you? I've barely scratched the surface with PS, etc., so the ability to make all the grass pieces green and everything else gray still amazes me. Never-the-less, you REALLY stopped the motion. Hopefully you will also describe how you did it in your submission. Good luck with the challenge.

Wow! When I was previsualizing something for this challenge, I could see this image (albeit without the hammer) and also one of a balloon popping. I didn't submit anything because I had no idea how to accomplish it. Hopefully, your description will tell me. In the meantime, fantastic timing, great focus, really wonderful detail, contrasts and tones. Exactly what one would imaging for a "Stopped Motion". Congratulations and good luck.

I did some shots like this once, but they were a little early for this challenge - over forty years ago on the west coast of France. Anyway, spectacular lighting, really great action, stopped it nicely. Wish there was a tad more focus in places; just seems kind of soft. Just the same, congratulations. Nice image.
