S&Pby BooZonComment: Nice setup.
Ii don't know if I would call Salt and Pepper Opposites so much as complimentary of each other...
The peppe rmill doesn't have that much definition to it, mostly due to the darkness of the background. Maybe there is something that could be done with the lighting or perhaps with a different background color that could pop out the shape of the peper mill a little bit better. |

North & Southby AzrifelComment: This image sort of follows my own submission in a North/South sort of fashion.
This is a very nice shot. Good detail. One thing I would attempt to do is to attempt to get rid of that small washed out spot on the top right of the compass, if looks like the plastic caught some flash(? ). |

Cubs Win! Cubs Lose!by toddheadComment: Nice use of long exposure time.
I think if you had something to rest your elbows on it is likely that you could have eliminated some of the blur in your hands. |

Opposite ends of writingby °°gummi°°Comment: Without the CD-ROM this is something that I would definately consider hanging in my home. A very nice shot.
As for following the challeng, I believe it does so nicely.
If you can reshoot this without the CD-ROM and possibly do something to even out the lighting in the background this would make a decent print. (In my neophyte opinion) |

Rusty old pipeby heidaComment: All I can say is 'Dang Bird!'
Perhaps it's just me, but the bird in the image seems to take away a little.
I really like this shot otherwise. |

Old Lockby vtruanComment: It looks a bit washed out, but perhaps that was what you were aiming for as it seems to ahve some good contrasts between all the rusted pieces. |

Rusty Nailby drgsoellComment: I really like the humorous take on that drink.
Very nice concept. The shot came out good as well.
Keep thinking like this. |

Pupating Caterpillarby FalcComment: I like the way the shadows are cast over this rusting hulk. It convinces me that this must be resting just inside a wooded area, perhaps forgotten by some long ago contractor that was to busy with other things to remember where he left his 'toy'.
Nice shot. |

Achy Jointsby zwhitleyComment: The little snippet of a building in the distance on the right is slightly distracting. I have found my eyes drawn to it as a point of interest a few times. It's probably because of the additional 'open' area in that portion of the image.
