The Strong, Silent Typeby indigo997Comment: This is a great shot, simple but appealing. Good color and detail throughout. Nicely utilizing the rule of thirds. Nice work. Gotcha |

I Talk to the trees - From Paint Your Wagon- By Lerner & Loeweby sulamkComment: Very nicely done. I don̢۪t usually like post processing to this extreme, but this has something that grabs at me. I̢۪d love just a little more picture under her feet, she is almost crowding the bottom corner. The wrinkles in her pants are fabulous. But the frame is WAY too bold for my taste and uneven horizontal/vertical. = 8 Good luck |

WINTER by Tori Amosby indigo997Comment: There's not much that can be done to improve a shot like this. My only effort would be to make the girl stand out just a little more from behind the tree. She is a valuable addition to the shot, but looks like she wants out of it. - 10 |

I am, and always will be a DANCER!by SonifoComment: What a doll. Great expression. I don’t care to much for the background, I think the wrinkles take a little away from the subject, but the subject is powerful enough to keep my eye off the background most of the time. I would also NOT crop the elbow (petty, but bothersome). Over-all, I love the shot –9- Gotcha |

Sofia by jenaromComment: A beautiful subject, but I\'m dying to see her eyes. I\'d love to see more of her hair on the right side too. The lighting, highlights, midtones, everything very well done. (Wanting to see more, often times can make a better picture by leaving something to the imagination) - this is one of my 10\'s this week - Gotcha |

Maybe I Can Sneak Into DPC2by GeneralEComment: This is a great portrait shot. Kid shots seem to loose a few points on DPC, but this one has that little extra element that I think will work wonders. The lighting is perfect, bringing rich color to the skin tones. 8 - Gotcha
He looks just like his dad, â€Â¦. â€Â¦ â€Â¦ (Must be the nose).

Light Towerby FrooberComment: This is a difficult shot to critique for me. Shades of blacks and whites with this level of extreme contrast are not easy to shoot. I love lighthouses, so it has my interest. The blue of the sky is rich in color and the detail is clear throughout the picture. The contrails are a little distracting to me but there’s not a lot you can do to fix that short of re-shooting in an hour. I want to see something else in the picture to give me an idea of the size of the tower. (Only because it almost looks like a toy). The black frame is a nice addition. Good Luck – Gotcha 7 |
