Strengthby RtwoComment: I like the construction of the cross - that it seems to be reinforced by the lateral parts in the blocks instead of being a solid mass, it reinforces the theme, though the cracks in the middle find me worried about its durability |

Strength of Natureby arlanbartComment: I loved this and hoped that we would see more photos depicting nature overcoming obstacles like this. I like the sepia quality. I wish it were slightly sharper. |

The Final Pull by clickawayComment: Really captures the physics of the moment and power of the subjects as they pull on the rope. The sepia also helps to lend a timeless quality to the struggle |

The Power Of Manby DamianComment: I like the shadow and exposure, but the ghosted image doesn't quite feel right for this assignment |

The Engineering Genius of Mother Natureby boomerComment: I wanted to score this one much higher, but I can't seem to wrap my brain around how this fits the strength assignment (except through the explanation in the title). Lovely color and detail though. |

la fuerzaby rananculusComment: the colors feel blown out and the subject matter does not convey the assignment of strength to me |

A Canadian "The Cheat"?! Oh no!by TrickyBuddhaComment: I don't know what this is, so it does not convey strength to me. Otherwise the colors are very vibrant though I question the focus being on the foreground swirl instead of the eyes |

True Strengthby shophandComment: decent composition, though I felt it was a little soft, the concept of strength was not clear to me |
