The Last Stopby kirbicComment: Nice shot! Just a little less sky I think, the light up there steals the eye, but there's nothing interesting up there.
Great find by the way. Do tell us the poor thing's story! |

Standing in timeby rkfooteComment: Very good, but a bit too centered main object. And there's a "what's-that-on-the-left-feeling". I would have moved to the left to bring that in (depending on what it was perhaps) or zoomed in a bit to get rid of the left thingie and get a more interesting composition around the main wreck. |

Rusted loveby ivashComment: Congratulations to a ribbon shot. Very nice composition, excellent DOF, dead on the challenge theme. My only 10. |

sniper by hopperComment: Yikes, almost missed it. Thought I looked at "just another darned rusty chain" :-)
Nice capture. Tell me it wasn't a "find" but that you set it up somehow? Had I been in a bad mood I'd fired away a DQ request for PS-job, but I'm not so I'm just assuming you found the little buggar like that. Hope you don't suffer too much from "thumbnail voting". |

Big Erector Setby bobdaveantComment: Nice with a different composition. Too bad about the fog/smog/whatever that makes the building faded. Would have been a nice one in the silhouettes challenge too. |

Rusty shadowby aKiwiComment: Points for being unique in this never ending flood of chains and car parts. Nice colors! The shadow could have been a bit more interesting - perhaps a profile face, arm movement or anything? |

Exhaustedby alanbataarComment: A bit harsh exposure at a few places. Think you would have made this a lot better with more tolerant editing rules. Nice effort. |

Old Spring House with Rusty Roofby digitaldaveComment: Interesting composition. Was going to complain about the rust not being dominant enough, but then I realize this was just plain nice to rest the eye upon after voting on some 300+ red images. And the object was to compose around rust, not shoot rust. Is it a golf course by chance? The grass behind the house seems golfy..
However - must complain about something right? The focus is a bit off. Shorter DOF and the focus dead on the rusty house would have made this really good. Perhaps just a little less tree to the left too I think. Anyway, nice warm image. Good luck! |

Keepin it Coolby NazgulComment: I think your picture would have gained from some detail in the subjects. Since there is no forground/background for them to interact with in any way and the edges being so sharp, they seem a bit cut-out of the picture rather than being silhouettes. |
