Interesting take on the challenge. I think that I like the lighting. it makes the photo what it is. Not really sure if I identify the orangeness as rust though. I assume that it is because you say that it is, but honestly it's hard to tell if it's rusted, or just colored to look rusted. either way, I think that originalty is strong here. focus and clarity are hard to judge, but look just fine to me. I would call this abstract too. ~Heather~

Your choice to include the shadow really has helped make this a much more interesting shot than if you had submitted a shot of only the rusty wall(?)

I very much like this idea. The colors in both light and shade work well and the focus is perfect as rust makes itself hard to place in focus being so dust like.

I just kind of wish the model was holding camera to eye. The shadow would have a little more of a story to tell.

Points for being unique in this never ending flood of chains and car parts. Nice colors! The shadow could have been a bit more interesting - perhaps a profile face, arm movement or anything?

nice shot i especially like the color gradient on the metal but imho the shadow could show more character/emotion possibly with the use of timer and tripod

I like this. I also enjoy taking shadow self-portraits. I wish there was a bit more definition in the details of the scratches and rust, but otherwise nicely done. Good luck.
