Caught Nappingby AnnidaComment: Kute kitty, but kind of blurry. The specular highlights (bright reflections of light) from the background also serve to detract from the image. Better to pull the subject forward and away from the wall. If possible, also cover with some low reflective cloth or paper. |

Wish You Were Here....by kretsComment: This is the third tropical scene I've reviewed now and I'm starting to get jealous! ;-) Like the others, this is very nice. I do note that there isn't much interaction between the two trees, which tends to give the impression of two separated subjects because they aren't serving a common purpose, such as framing the sunset or whatever. |

Silhouette at Sunsetby briphotoComment: Very nice! Great color, good placement of the subject, and nice separation from the background. Because we read left to right, it often works best to put the subject at the right side of an image. However, in this case having the subject on the left works to your advantage. The eye immediately locks on to the subject, but then wants to continue scanning, which introduces it to the wonderful background. |

Kit tea (pun)by BullwinkleComment: Nice pun and nice photograph. I really like the placement and perspective of the kettle and the kitty. My only suggestion would be to cover the table with something to increase the contrast with kitty (I don't care for the busy grain from the wood). |

Cats Eyeby AnachroniteComment: Nice composition. I like the catch light in the eye. I think this would be improved if it had greater depth of field. |

A Very Cliché Shot in Punxsutawneyby alanfreedComment: Great shot and what an interesting subject! I would prefer that he/she be a bit less centered, but nonetheless this works. Nice colors and good separation from the appropriately blurred background. |

Churchillby MorganComment: Nice dog, and a good poser too. I like the perspective and the mood you are trying to create. However, the busy background somewhat taints the shot. |

goodnight elizabethby SatelliteSpeckComment: The composition and posing on this is excellent. Great lighting and background. I think a soft focus is appropriate to the subject, but this goes too far and becomes somewhat blurry instead of pleasantly soft. |
