This is stunning, and the subject matter is dfiferent, which is good! :) I love the way the ambient light is reflecting off the right side of the lighthouse. And of course the sky and clouds are very trippy. Good luck in the challenge, I hope this one does well! - 9.

I'm not sure what it is about this one I like so much. Very unreal feel to it, I suppose because of the red sky, which is just lovely. The placement of the wheel in the frame is terrific, along with the strange angle. Very nice!

Wow, is the year on that report card 1881?? It's very cool that you'd have personal family documents dating back so far. And I love the subject entitled "Declamation," something we don't see in the modern era. Interesting and unique photo; just wish the lighting were a little more even. In any event, I like it all around.

This is one of my favorites for this challenge. I just love the quality of the light and shadows, and the expression on his face is perfect! Only thing I'd change is to try to make the background darker so the object in the upper right-hand corner isn't visible. In any event, good luck with this one, hope it's a winner!

This is one of my favorites and I hope it does very well. Parts of it, most especially the fellow on the steps and the lampposts, look painted in. Unique among the entries. The only thing that bothers me a tad is the building in the background at left, wish it wasn't there. Still, a 9. Very beautiful!
