Hospital Sceneby JPRComment: This is an effective interpretation of the challenge. I like the sense of realism and the black and white works well as does the sharp contrast. Well done for an imaginative and well executed shot. |

Off Kilterby crabappl3Comment: Little implication of anything happening that I can't predict past the edge of the frame. The shadow tells me that the piper has more than just legs - without the shadow this would have been a more enigmatic image. |

Catch by sn4psh07Comment: Nice capture. Pity about the guy in the background. Tricky shot at the best of times but no doubt you'd agree it would be better with only the one guy with his hands out. |

Future Forwardby SprObsrvntGrlComment: Little implication of anything happening past the edge of the frame. this is such a familiar image that it needs to be treated with some originality to have any impact. it's a nicely framed shot though and effectively lit. |

Birds In Frightby midnightride2Comment: I like this - very creative. I guess this was fairly opportunistic but there woudl be ways of improving here. First the birds are indistinct against their background - a lower angle would enmphasise the sense of flight. the foregoround is out of focus - given that this is where the off-screen action is (the disturbance) this might be better in focus. finally, there's a sense of chaos in the images of the birds -which is distracting. A smaller flock would have helped. Well done. |

Sliding on the Curveby dawn_welshComment: A nicely composed shot. However there is little implication of anything happening past the edge of the frame - the attention is drawn to the girl's face - that's where things are happening. Then i think well yes she's is so obviously anticipating the rest of the slide so perhaps this is cleverer than I thought! |
