Lovely shot. It really makes me want to see the whole piper that's not shown in the picture. |

As a Scot, I'm drawn to this entry. Nice use of shadow. 9 |

very nice shot. Well framed. Would have been easy to loose detail in the back of the pipers legs due to the shadow and the bright pavement but you havemanaged an extremely tricky shot extremely well. I hope this is a high scorer. Well done. |

nice pic. i see no expectation or implied off-frame action. |

Its a fine image and usage of lights and shadows but you dont have to be very imaginative do see whats of-screen. Maybe this would have been better if you had shot it from another angel, that is capturing the "sunny-side" of the legs and also the shadow behind. But all the same, this is a fine image. |

this is a great shot--not too sure what the expectation is. The border cheapens your nice composition. |

I love this shot, I just don't think it conveys expectation :( I would also prefer if somehow the longer pipe (the one that comes down towards the bottom of the screen) could be more in focus. Still, one of the technically best shots in the contest. |

Great take on the challenge, I like the use of the shadow to make the viewer imagine whats out of the frame. 10
Good luck... |

I'm not entirely sure how I find this fitting with the theme of the challenge, but it's such a great shot I'm giving it an 8, regardless. Excellent use of composition, and the sharpness is really eye-catching. Great shot! |

I don't really see anyone on-screen expecting something off-screen. That said, I like the composition of this shot. The only rela distraction is the patchiness of the concrete. |

Little implication of anything happening that I can't predict past the edge of the frame. The shadow tells me that the piper has more than just legs - without the shadow this would have been a more enigmatic image. |

great shot and use of lighting, but what is exactly to be expected off screen? |

Cool. Great use of the shadow to help us what to expect. Maybe a bit better exposure on legs.. i like this though. |

Fantastic idea, fantastic title. I think that what does it for me is the absolute flare of the tiny red things on his socks. Also, this meets the challenge very well. A perfect 10. |
