Surferby MickComment: looks cold! i see too much noise though - maybe just the mist. i think a tighter zoom/crop would look a little better too. good luck! |

Travel and Leisureby lizzyc3Comment: I think the contrast is too high and the gloomy colors would deter me from taking this trip. Great idea though. Good luck! |

Nickelodeonby cabaComment: I think the overall gloominess of the picture detracts from what I get from you intent. When I think of Nickelodeon or cartoons, I think of childhood/happiness/bright. The background really clashes with this emotion. If it would have been blue skies with some white puffy clouds thrown in, I think it would be a much stronger picture. The composition is really good and I really like the idea though. Maybe could have tweaked the levels a little to bring out more color on SpongeBob as well. Good luck! |

Garden Gate - Spring 2004by RHoldenSrComment: in my opinion, if you would have had a sharper focus on just the clump on the right that are lit up so bright it would grab me better. very dreamy though, and if that was your intent - nice job. good luck |

Knowledge(drum&bass magazine)by litboltiComment: This truly looks like a picture I would see in a drum & bass mag! I'm sure many won't understand it though - unfortunately.
The only bad things I see with it is the noise/graininess in the picture and it could use a better focus. Nice job though, before even looking at the title I knew what I was looking at. Good Luck! |

Dog Fancyby PDavisComment: I hope who ever the boxer puppy's owner is knows what they are getting into!! I have a brindle female (6yrs) and she was quite the handful in her puppy days. So much training!!! Good luck!
If you have Photoshop or another post-editing program I would suggest playing with the levels and colors to bring out the puppy more. He/she blends in to the background so much. I would say use a better light source, but I know it is impossible to get a boxer puppy where you want them and to stay long enough to take the picture!!! |

Boy's Lifeby dsa157Comment: I have began to take pictures of people finally, and I have found the that the best way to get a really good shot is to catch them when they are oblivious to you/the camera's presence. i.e. catch him as he is putting on the pack, or starting to walk off. a color filter would also provide a more interesting light to add more content to the picture. Hope you guys enjoyed the backpacking trip!!! I just got back from a week long excursion through the mountains!
Good luck! |

Art Magazineby terjeComment: i think this would have been more striking or powerful if you had a warm pin light illuminating the figurine and casting shadows down the curves. maybe could have been cropped a little on the right side so it wasn't so centered. this would add more interest to the figurine in my opinion. good luck! |

Arts of Asiaby torrenzanoComment: I have a little scene just like this enclosed in glass. I kind of think if the subject was completely black it would almost look like an ink drawing - or color paints. I feel you should have burned the glare on the top left of the large building though. good composition. |
