Fire extinguisherby MrAkamaiComment: i love the composition and the texture. i'd say you'll get mailed by most for too much negative space and for the border. i like the neg space here, and though i'd rather see it without the border it doesn't do anything to bring down my score here. the shadow is a tad long though. |

Dropping byby asijComment: you should definately download the free version of Neat Image - the blurred background is great, but its full of digital noise. this could be from using a higher ISO setting than your camera is actually capable of handling. my g3 offers up to 400, but i only use 50 since anything else produces more noise than i care to see in my images... |

An old foggy roadby KenTrippComment: lovely textures in the fence, and the fog is gorgeous. the bottom of the image moving into the left corner is very dark and distracts the eye, unfortunately, from the more interesting sections |

Got macho?by theodor38Comment: this is great, but the shadow across the chest is taking away our focus |

Lockedby OneSweetSinComment: i think i little more dof would have helped here, just to keep the subject in focus througout. i like the way the background is out of focus. |

Misty Morning by librodoComment: Congratulations!
But I have to ask, how can your aperature be so large - 1.8 - when your depth of field seems to be so deep. Doesn't a large aperature usually give a shallow depth of field? |

cloudy dayby TLL061Comment: this is an interesting shot, the three shapes play together nicely and the refletion is nice, especially the way the windows brake it up.
it looks as though you ignored the lines that are happening in this image. it owuld have made a stronger impression had you followed the lines of the clapboard, paralleled then to the top and bottom edges of the photo. i should also point out that the brake in the top left corner and the reflection of what looks to be a white wall in the left window are distractions that, if avoidable, should not be present for maximum impact. |

Wheel of timeby NazgulComment: very nice, could be a top 10... i live the negative space you use here, and the way the wheels break into the space. perhaps the depth of field could have been increased a tad to make both wheels appear sharp - this image seems to want to be sharp all the way through to me. |
