Carved by Fireby AmiYuyComment: the sky is completely blown out from overexposure. try using a flash to bring the exposure of the tree so it can match that of the sky. interesting angle. |

Study of a bromeliadby lwkimagesComment: nice! interesting method of drawing focus both with the mag class and the saturation difference. very clever, and nicely composed, strong color. good work. |

The Far Tree by Spork99Comment: this image is absolutely stunning.
i'm assuming you used some kind of flash to expose the first tree while setting the camera to expose for the sky...? |

A Cockatielby trainComment: watch the iso setting on your camera - it looks like your getting some digital noise on your bakground due to a high iso - i keep mine at 50 since anything higher produces this noise. |

My First Barnby NeuferlandComment: FYI - just because it was your first, doesn't make it new. and despite that, the challenge was supposed to be about photographing something for the first time. somehow i doubt this was the first shot you took of your own barn. but i'm not docking points, just sayin' |

Homeby photoqwestComment: i hope you asked this man permission to take his photo and put it online.
i have a knee-jerk reaction to seeing pictures of homeless people on dpc.
the wall and blanket are a tad over exposed - t-shirt too. |
